Stress again......

Have been sleeping lesser for the past 2 weeks. I can sleep at 2 am and wake up at 6 am without the help of an alarm clock. Frens says that b'cos I have too many things in my mind.

Yah....true....I have been planning a birthday party for both my kids and also running around buying things for the Melbourne trip. All these, to my hubby, are unnecessary and probably this makes me even more stress as I am the only one doing all the planning and executing it. There's always something I thought I have missed out.....sigh....

Though tiring, it's also very rewarding when I saw that my 2 kids beaming at the special cake their mommy got for their birthday party (thanks to Yin Wei who introduced me to this website - http://www.cupcakedivinity.blogspot.com/)

The kids love it. Chanel kept saying she is that princess while Clarence pointed to the cupcakes and kept saying,"car, car" :)

Good thing the cakes tasted nice too.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating my kids birthday in school (it's Chanel's actual birthday) and then we will be flying to Melbourne (finally) at nite. Chanel's been very excited since this morning, kept asking if tomorrow is her birthday. When I answered "yes", she'll be shouting, "yeah, we are going to australia"....hahaha... cute girl.

Now I just hope I've got everything packed and enough warm clothing for the kids. Though a little "scared" as I can't predict how my son would behave over there but still look forward to the trip. It's a trip I have been thinking of - bringing them to see penguins, letting them run in the big garden in such nice weather, taking trams ride, etc....Oh....really counting down now....

Counting Down

Counting down now.....Can't believe that I'm really going to Melbourne....

After all the planning, researching, comparing and argueing, my family has finally decided to go ahead to Melbourne while my bro and my parents will fly to Hokkaido. Though very disappointed with the final outcome (my first attempt of going overseas with everyone failed) but probably that's the best arrangement. We had different agenda in our mind.

It's also a good thing that I had waited to book my holidays during the NATAS fair as I really got myself a good deal: flying SQ (though nite flight), staying 6N in a 2-bedroom deluxe apartment right in the middle of Melbourne City, taxes, insurance and airport transfer, all under $7.5k for my family. Wow....that's a lot of saving as compared to $13k if I were to go Hokkaido with my bro....

The devil side of me kept telling my parents and bro how much I had saved if I am to go to Hokkaido. Think I just wanted to prove my brother wrong about his theory and calculation which says that both trip cost about the same. But the angel side of me felt very happy for my mom as she has always wanted to go on a trip with her son but never has the chance. My bro, so far, has not ask them along for any overseas trip he is going. So this would definitely be a very happy memory for my mom.

I'll make sure that I will pay my parents a visit the week they come back from the trip, so as to listen to all the wonderful times she had in Hokkaido :)

Anyway, it's probably really a good "ending" to this whole series of holidaying together thing. Though I still feel it's a little pity....almost able to fly together....

Well, maybe next time, when 我的皮又痒了, I'll plan another trip with my bro. Hahaha....

He finally call me.....

It's a day to call for a celebration! ...at least for me..... Coz it's the day my little boy finally called me "MOMMEE"... loud and clear!

Clarence has never never called me or his daddy, though he would call everyone else, even cats and dogs.

Thot he might call me again later in the day but then.....sigh...that is the one and only time he called.

Well, it's ok, Clarence. Mommy can wait. Hope it won't be too long though....heh..heh..
